Hands On Experience of Most Commonly Used Univariate Statistics Using STATA 10

 

Aim
This is a One-Day Professional Workshop in Muscat, OMAN. The aim of this workshop is to equip and familiarize the participants with the use of the most commonly used univariate statistics (see Course Outline below). Who is interested to learn the following in one day?

1. What univariate statistical test to use?
2. When to use it?
3. How to use it?
4. Under what assumptions?
5. How to test for these assumptions?
6. And most importantly, how to interpret?

• The workshop will be conducted using Stata, statistical software developed by StataCorp, College Station, Texas, USA. It is a statistical software that is particularly useful in the fileds of Biostatics, Epidemiology, Medical, and Economic research.
